I see some Remote Control Golf Caddies at a lower cost than the 2009 GreenPacer II. What makes the GreenPacer II a better value?
You are right... we know what is available. Our suggestion is to carefully compare features, specifications, warranties and client service. We clearly publish all technical data and warranty details on our site.
For example, the GreenPacer II includes an Electronic Brake system which gives the operator superior control on hills and turns. The free turning front wheel is an often overlooked feature which also contributes significantly to the caddy's responsiveness. GreenPacer II also includes a Speed Memory feature... the ability to resume your last set speed by simply starting the caddy after your shot. Smooth Start acceleration means the caddy won't lunge or jerk when it starts moving; it will start smoothly then increase its speed.
At ParMotion, our mission is provide golf caddies that perform well and are engineered to last. ParMotion motorized golf caddies may not be the least expensive available, but they aren't built to that criteria. We strive to offer the absolute best value and warranty protection available on reliable and well built golf caddies, and we provide customer service that regularly brings praise from our clients and referrals to their friends. We update our customer feedback frequently so you can read what our customers say. We can even provide referrals that you can contact.
We also know the importance of maintaining a parts inventory so that if there is a problem we can get you back on the course quickly.

Is the 2009 GreenPacer vE a remote controlled motorized caddy?
The GreenPacer vE is a premium quality electric golf caddy that is operated by a handle-mounted controls for Power ON/OFF, forward speed and the speed memory feature. The trolley's direction is at your control using the adjustable height handle.
For a full function remote control golf caddy, consider the ParMotion VeKaddy or the GreenPacer II.

What sort of regular maintenance does my GreenPacer vE or GreenPacer II require?
It is important to remember that your GreenPacer IS a machine and therefore does require some maintenance. Consult your GreenPacer vE or GreenPacer II Owners Manual for full details. Performing the following quick checks periodically will go a long way to keeping your caddy in top working order:
- check connections to be sure they are tightened correctly. Necessary tools are included.
- should a bolt, nut or washer become loose or lost, replace it immediately with the proper size.
- remove excess moisture from exposed parts, including caked mud or grass clippings.
- use only a mild soap to clean your GreenPacer. Do not use a pressure sprayer.
- periodically remove dirt and debris from around the wheels and axles.
And finally... consider our annual service program. For a very reasonable fee, we will inspect, test, service and clean your GreenPacer Caddy from the wheels up. Contact us for details.

Since the 2008 33Amp GreenPacer Battery will run up to 36 holes, can I charge it every second game?
NO!!! The battery's charge cycle capacity and its ability to fully charge will be significantly reduced if it is frequently allowed to completely exhaust. It should be charged after every day's use, whether you play 9 or 18 holes. While the battery will power the caddy for 36 consecutive holes, our main purpose in providing this heavy duty battery is to ensure that the GreenPacer Caddy will easily complete 18 holes on any course, regardless of its terrain.

Why does my 2008 GreenPacer II respond to turn commands differently on some surfaces and hills?
Practicing with the Remote Transmitter BEFORE you head out to the course is our best advice, but it will help if you understand how your 2008 GreenPacer II actually responds to commands.
For example, when you press the LEFT transmitter key, the LEFT motor is disengaged while the right motor continues at the present speed. As the left wheel slows, the continuing forward motion of the right motor "pushes" the GreenPacer II to the left. When you release the LEFT key, the left motor immediately resumes it's speed causing the cart to continue on its new course. A single rapid press of the key will only disengage the motor for that brief instant so the cart's directional change will be minimal.
In addition, if your GreenPacer II is on a downslope and/or moving a greater speed, the motor disengaged by the key press will require a longer time to slow down; the cart will continue straight until the free or "coasting" wheel is turning slower than the opposite wheel. When the cart is traveling at a slower pace, or on an upward grade, the response to any turn or stop command will be much quicker.
Always keep your GreenPacer II as close as practical. Avoid high speeds on slopes and in areas where people (not to mention ponds, benches, sand traps and trees) may interfere with safe operation of your GreenPacer II.
Remember... a single press of the STOP key will disengage the motors and the cart will coast to a stop, providing it is on level ground. TWO presses of the STOP key will halt the GreenPacer II immediately.

My 2008 GreenPacer II is suddenly responding erratically to commands. Is there something wrong?
If the Control Panel lights are operating normally when the cart is initially turned on at the main power switch, it is likely that the battery in the Remote Transmitter is too weak. Replacing the battery with a good quality battery should solve this problem. We encourage you to keep an extra battery in your Golf Bag. While personal use and course conditions obviously determine Remote Transmitter battery life, a single good quality battery should function for 15 to 25 rounds of golf.

What are the advantages of the ParMotion VeKaddy motors? How are they different?
The ParMotion VeKaddy drive system includes disk motors, planetary gear speed reducers and electromagnetic braking systems. Essentially, each disk motor is driven by extremely powerful rare earth magnets, as opposed to a traditional electric motor with brushes and gears. Even in a very high quality traditional motor, brushes will eventually wear, there is more noise, a much higher operating temperature (easily "overloaded") and they utilize much more power to achieve the required output.
The ParMotion VeKaddy's motors are virtually silent at any speed, there are much fewer parts to wear, they can be controlled with far greater precision and will operate at 2 to 3 times overload current. Their operating efficiency may be as much as double that of typical electric caddy motors.
While significantly more expensive to produce, the patented design of these motors is the key to our ability to offer VeKaddy's unequaled guarantee.

How long does the remote transmitter battery last?
Our experience so far, including user feedback, indicates the transmitter battery lasts through 14 to 20 full 18 hole rounds. The life of the transmitter battery depends primarily on the individual player and the courses they play.
Can the VeKaddy be pulled or pushed if my battery looses power?
Yes it can... and unlike other caddies you don't even need to manually disengage the drive wheels from the axles. The ParMotion VeKaddy automatically shifts to "free wheel" mode (neutral) when its main power is turned off. With power on, the "Shift" button is used to temporarily place the caddy in neutral if needed.
And remember, your ParMotion VeKaddy is supplied with a 42 Amp Panasonic power supply. Providing you charge and store this extremely high quality battery pack as instructed, your VeKaddy will easily carry your clubs through more than 18 of the longest, toughest golf holes you can find. And you'll still have lots of power left for the "sudden death" match...
What sort of service or maintenance does the ParMotion VeKaddy require?
The VeKaddy requires only routine cleaning and inspection to maintain both its appearance and operation.
This includes periodically checking bolts and fasteners are secure and removing caked dirt or grass clippings from the wheels, hinge connections and controller cover. A damp towel or mild cleaner that will not damage the finish is all that's needed, but if you really want to polish your VeKaddy you can use appropriate automotive cleaners or polishes on the various surfaces.
Will the VeKaddy run away or loose control on steep hills?
VeKaddy's navigation system and electronic brakes give you control of your caddy's speed and position over most terrain encountered on the course. On excessive slopes, we encourage you to keep the caddy close or even hold the handle. When the caddy's electronic brakes are deployed, the wheels lock. Even on the steepest grade, your VeKaddy will not move until either it receives a new command from the remote transmitter, the transmission is set to neutral (by pressing the shift key on the control panel) or the main power is turned off.
The ParMotion VeKaddy's proprietary control module activates the caddy's independent electronic brakes to provide instant response to turn commands on any grade, at any speed. We think you'll agree that the VeKaddy is the most responsive remote control golf caddy available.
And, much like a car's cruise control, the VeKaddy attempts to maintain your set speed as it encounters moderate slopes. Precise Speed and direction are at your control with the intuitive ParMotion transmitter.

What accessories are available for the VeKaddy?
A major advantage of the VeKaddy design is that many "accessories" are included. The handle assembly includes a covered scorecard holder, pencil holder and space for four golf balls and six tees.
The optional mesh style beverage holder keeps any size bottle or thermos within arms reach. The brand new utility basket accessory has aready proven very popular, as has the the Aqua Caddy Portable Golf Club Cleaner.
The ParMotion VeKaddy Umbrella Holder is now available for pre-ordering with availability early August. This the best quality umbrella holder available anywhere and has been specially designed for the VeKaddy.
Of course, the Bushnell iGolf GPS Distance finder is the ultimate accessory for your VeKaddy.
If you have other suggestions for ParMotion VeKaddy Accessories, send us an email. We love to hear suggestions from golf enthusiasts.

Where is the ParMotion VeKaddy made?
The 2009 ParMotion VeKaddy is the result of an almost four year co-operative effort including a division of China's largest automotive manufacturer (which holds international patents on the VeKaddy's magnetic motors and planetary gears), ParMotion itself and even graduate students who actually designed the proprietary electronic controller. This Electronic Control Module is vital to the synchronized precision of VeKaddy's patented motors, brake systems and transmission.
ParMotion assumed a lead role in the VeKaddy's styling, operational details, functions and features, accessories, documentation, packaging and on-course testing (the "fun" part of the project).
Now that VeKaddy is in full production, general assembly, final testing and packaging are completed in Canada. In fact, about 65% of the price of the ParMotion VeKaddy stays right here in Canada.
